About me

Alan Guindi

I am a qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist.

I offer a confidential and containing space for clients looking for someone to talk to when life feels tricky to navigate.

Together, we can look at coping with the every day difficulties that are hard to understand and deal with, and also at times we can reflect on how events from the past that feel unresolved or hard to think about on one’s own, may hold clues to feelings being experienced in the present.

The right approach

How We Work

Our Philosophy

We firmly believe that psychotherapy should be accessible to people from all walks of life. We are dedicated to offering a safe space and place the highest regard on respecting diversity and ensuring equality. We offer a number of assisted rate places to people who are facing financial difficulties, such as those on a low income or receiving benefits.

Ethical Standards

Our ethics are regulated by the bodies we are members of, including the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling, the British Psychoanalytic Council and the UK Council for Psychotherapy. Everything we hear and discuss will remain confidential. The only exception to this would be in cases of criminal activity or safeguarding issues.

Professional Standards

We have trained for over five years in a psychodynamic practice and are committed to continued professional development. We care about you as an individual and our relationship will be built around that principle. We all hold clear enhanced DBS certificates and professional indemnity insurance.
